¡Hola a todos!

Bueno, bueno... resulta que me encontraba con una amiga cuando en la conversación, de repente, ha dicho algo referente a hoy miércoles. Y una, que a veces no tiene tiempo ni de rascarse, no se había dado cuenta del día en que vivimos (aunque de hecho sí sabía que era Halloween). Total, que si algunos de vosotros leéis el blog a menudo, os habréis dado cuenta de que escribo lunes, miércoles y viernes. Con lo cual, aquí estoy yo a estas horas, buscando como loca las imágenes que protagonizan este post a pesar de la cena familiar que me está esperando. ¡Gajes del oficio!

Así pues, ¡empezamos! 

Los diseñadores, buenos expertos en su profesión, saben cómo enloquecer a una mujer. ¿Una de nuestras debilidades? ¡Los zapatos! Y para volvernos locas, están recurriendo últimamente a creaciones realmente espectaculares como las que a continuación veréis, donde dejan volar sin límites su imaginación. ¡Espero que os guste!

Well... I was talking with a friend of mine when, suddenly, she said something related to today, Wednesday. There are days in which I don't have time for anything or maybe I don't know what day it is (although, at least, I knew it was Halloween). So, if any of you read this blog often, you will have realized that I write on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And here I am at this time, madly looking for the pics of this post, instead of having an appointment to dinner with my family. It's all part of the job!

Hoy os traigo versiones high y low cost de algunos de los calzados que más se llevan esta temporada. 

1. Isabel Marant VS. Asos. Las sneakers están siendo uno de los calzados más imitados por las marcas low cost y están triunfando también entre el street style y celebrities como Miranda Kerr. ¡Todas quieren llevarlas!
2. Gucci VS. Faith. Los botines Chelsea son sencillos, cómodos y muy fáciles de combinar. 
3. Isabel Marant VS. Mango. Pues sí, Isabel Marant vuelve a ser imitada. En esta ocasión son sus botines cowboy. ¿Qué tendrán las creaciones de la diseñadora francesa que nos enamoran a todos por igual?
4. Christian Louboutin VS. Topshop. Las slippers (como bien dice la palabra, las zapatillas que de toda la vida nos hemos puesto para estar en casa) se reinventan para, esta vez, salir a la calle.

Son de edición muy limitada y temporales. Entre ellos hay brazaletes, charms o delicados anillos que adornarán lujosamente vuestra piel. La diseñadora de joyas de Dior, Camille Miceli, los ha creado usando láminas de oro de 24 quilates. ¿Qué os parece?

And finally: have you seen "Dior Grand Bal Golden Tattoos"? So cute!

It's a very limited edition, and tattoos are temporary. You will find bracelets, charms or delicated rings that will luxuriously decorate your skin. The Dior Jewellery Designer, Camille Miceli, made them using 24-carat gold leafing. What do you think, do you like them?

¡Hola a todos! ¿Cómo ha ido el fin de semana? ¡Espero que no haya estado tan pasado por agua como el mío aquí en Barcelona! 

Hoy quiero daros una nueva noticia, y es que me he enamorado locamente. Como ya sabéis, esta temporada los abrigos con dos o más colores o texturas diferentes son tendencia. Y yo he sentido un flechazo instantáneo con el que podéis ver bajo estas líneas. Se trata de una creación de Sophie Hulme, diseñadora que no conocía pero de la que creo que a partir de ahora permaneceré atenta a sus nuevos diseños. El abrigo me encanta por su minimalismo, elegancia y una muy acertada mezcla de fucsia y gris. Pero si alguno de vosotros también enloquece y lo quiere, no es oro todo lo que reluce: su precio, 800 euros.

Today I want to give you some news: I'm madly in love. As you know, coats in two different colours or textures are very trendy this season. And I felt love at first sight with this coat. It's been created by Sophie Hulme, a designer I didn't knew about, but now I'll definetely be attentive to her new designs. I really like it because of its minimalism, elegance and a right mix between fuchsia and grey. But if any of you has gone crazy too, all that glitters is not gold: the price, 800 euro.

Congrats Glamour!/Fav pic/Look

¡Muy buenos días a todos!

Como ya habréis visto, si alguno de vosotros es fiel lector de la revista Glamour España sabréis que este mes de noviembre (número que sale hoy 19 de octubre) cumple nada más y nada menos que ¡10 años! Y he querido dedicar parte del post a este magazine ya que fue la primera revista de moda que compré. Concretamente el número de febrero de 2007. 

Yo tenía 17 años por aquel entonces, y aunque siempre me había llamado la atención la moda, no fue hasta ese momento que sentí una verdadera pasión por ella, tanto como para desear con todas mis fuerzas poder dedicarme al mundo de la moda. Me fascinó cómo, además del evidente tema que trata, hablaba también de una mujer libre, independiente, capaz de triunfar en un mundo laboral liderado en gran parte por los hombres. 

Bueno, y sin enrollarme más, ¡aquí van mis 10 de mis portadas preferidas! Una por cada año que cumple la revista :)

Good morning everyone!

As you may have seen, if any of you is a trusty reader of the magazine Glamour Spain, you will know it'll have a birthday on November (the issue it's on sale from today, 19 October). 10 years! And I wanted to dedicate part of this post to this magazine, cause it was the first fashion Mag. that I bought. In particular the February 2007 issue. 

I was 17 by then, and although I have always been attracted by fashion, it wasn't until that moment that I felt a real passion for it, and know I desire to work on it for a living. I was fascinated by how (apart from the obvious theme it is about) it also talked about a free and independent woman, who was able to have success in a workplace le by men. 

Well, I don't want to go on and on, so here you have my 10 favourite covers! One for each year of this magazine :)

Quería enseñaros también una de las imágenes que más me gustan de la actualidad. Se trata de un retrato hecho por Alan Coulson y que lleva el título de Latoya. Pude verlo en directo en el National Portrait Gallery de Londres y me llamó muchísimo la atención por sus colores tan vivos, por esas pestañas azules y el realismo de la obra. ¡Me encanta! ¿No os gusta a vosotros?

I also wanted to show you one of the pics I like the most. It's a portrait made by Alan Coulson, titled Latoya. I could see it in the National Portrait Gallery of London and it called my attention because of its vivid colors, those blue eyelashes and its realism. I love it! Don't you like it?

¡Hola de nuevo!
Hoy quería hablaros de la moda cada vez más popular de ponerle prendas o accesorios (como son los bolsos) nombres de chicas famosas. Esta es una manera de atraer a un público determinado que se identifica con un personaje, como la IT girl Alexa Chung. Personas que las admiran, por ejemplo, o a las que les gusta su actitud o manera de vestir, pueden sentir así que se llevan un pedacito de estas icónicas celebrities. ¿Qué pensáis, no sería todo un honor que una firma quisiera contar con vosotros para crear un producto con vuestro nombre? :) 
Aquí tenéis algunos ejemplos. ¿Cuál os gusta más?

Today I want to walk about a trend that it's being more and more popular: creating clothes or accessories (e.g bags) and name them with the name of a celebrity. This is a way to attract to a certain consumer who identify themselves with a celebrity, as the IT girl Alexa Chung. There are people who look up to them or who like their attitude or way of dressing, and then the shoppers take a bit of these iconic girls. What do you think, wouldn't it be a privilege that a brand wanted to count with you with the purpose of creating a product with your name? :)

De este último bolso quizás no os suene el nombre, pero lo cierto es que Victoria Beckham ha bautizado este bolso con el nombre de Harper, ¡su hija! Es de su última colección, y seguro que será un éxito de ventas, ¡a mi me encanta!

Maybe you don't know this last name, but the fact is that Victoria Beckham has named it Harper, her daughter's name! You will find it in her last collection, and I am sure it will be a bestseller, I like it!
